About Us

We created Farm to Coast Collective to be a community-driven Public Benefit Corporation with a mission to socially and economically empower local up-and-coming chefs, artists, and makers. Founded with the core belief that success is best shared, our company is dedicated to supporting and uplifting talented and creative entrepreneurs in West Sonoma County.

Since 2019, we have been designing and developing a community revitalization project called The Livery on Main, a 3-level food hall, CoWork space, bar/lounge, flex/event space, and a rooftop garden deck in downtown Sebastopol. The first level (The Stables) was designed to include micro-kitchens featuring up-and-coming local chefs. The second level (The Loft) would include a bar/lounge and flex/event space, all with a wraparound balcony with outdoor seating. The third level (The Rafters) would be a beautiful, open-air rooftop deck with more seating. In 2022, we were weeks away from starting construction when the interest rates spiked, and our lender pulled out, so we made the painful decision to put the main food hall project on hold while we waited for the economy to stabilize and interest rates to come down.

With the main project on hold, we had to pivot and find other creative ways to further our mission. We opened The Livery CoWork in an adjacent building in 2022.

In 2022 and 2023, we helped two of our employees realize their dream of opening their own restaurant, Goldfinch at the Livery, in another adjacent building.

We are happy to report that both the CoWork and Goldfinch are thriving.

We believe that local creativity fuels vibrant communities. Our vision is rooted in collaboration, connection, and empowerment. We aim to build a vibrant network where local creators can not only achieve success doing what they love but also enrich the broader community by keeping creativity, innovation, and economic growth close to home. That's why we’ve committed ourselves to creating opportunities for talented individuals to thrive—whether it’s through providing welcoming physical spaces in which members of our community can concentrate, collaborate, and connect, or by giving local artists a physical location to exhibit their work (The Livery CoWork), or by supporting up-and-coming chefs showcase their culinary skills (Goldfinch).

As our next step toward making our vision a reality, we have created this online store to showcase the best, under-the-radar, locally-produced food and goods West Sonoma County has to offer. We are launching this site by offering thoughtfully curated gift boxes – just in time for the 2024 holiday season. Each gift box that is purchased from our site helps to uplift and empower small-scale makers & artisans in our community, so we thank you for your support!
